I have always wanted to take a train trip, but they do not have many routes. You have to go all over the country to get to your destination. I think trains are becoming a thing of the past unfortunatly:(

I'm thinking of taking a train from LA to DC in January. Single guy with no kids. I'm looking at the basic sleeper car. This helps, thanks.

if a trip to new york from miami cost $488 for 3 ppl is tht a good price

@Gusohyeah111 I do not know,to me it is kind of reasonable.I traveled back business class with my dad.round trip-sleeper on the first trip for 1 child 1 adult is $200-$300.$100-$105 for business class back.Cary NC-Philadelphia PA.
