I just loved the Captain and Tennille and still do! I had a crush on Toni. I thought she was beautiful, and she still is! She's always had a beautiful powerful voice, and the Captain was very talented on the piano and keyboards. I so enjoyed their TV show in the 70's. I thought it was terrific! Thanks for posting!

@theonlymoo5e just read on Wikipedia that toni tennille also toured with the beach boys at same time the captain was (also playing key boards and some back up vocals ) that is how they met

For a short time - The Captain was part of the Beach Boys touring band. Mike Love gave him the nickname Captain because of the hats he wore.
