I am very happy to say HAHA! I'm in East Paulding High School saber team, which last year I belive we got #4 in the nation... and our drill team got #1 in the nation...

Practice, patience, and just a few people that are willing to train for hours on end.
-
how can i learn this stuff??? its so cool!!!

Bros......nice. '97 guy and was quite impressed. Especially after the lack o f interest for a couple of years. Remember, it is about doing something special and not fucking up for your bro. That is what it is all about. And, it really does translate to the real AF...........drink up!

Man, that seems like ages ago, but that video brought me back. That performance was at McConnell AFB, KS for an airshow. I forget the exact date, but it was our 2 degree year. I'm not sure whose idea it was, but we got special permission from the SF (cops) to do the performance in front of the F-117s. Nice video and thanks for posting Jags05.

this was a great job guys and i can't wait to try it! horrah

I prefer BDU's to the Dress Coat. You can't lift your arms very high in your blues.
-
Hoorah!
-
and here i am thinking theres nothing as awsome as spinning rifles and funny at the same time nice work guys
-
This is a thank you for my brother, SMSgt Walter H. Clemmens III (Retired) U.S.A.F. You and yours are the reason we are free!
-
It defintly is but, im trying to find out how gud ur grades have to be for prep school. i would be amazed evn if i made it there.
-
nice video.
-
yeah we use old busted up rifles for training so the nice ones stay that way.
-
yeah, as a person that not only does the drill but trained others to do it, I have seen a couple of spectacular drops from freshmen just learning that have ended in a couple of new sabres being needed and a few freshmen getting disciplined
-
hmm i never thought they would actually snap though. ive broken my fare share of rifle stocks but i thought that the metal would hold up on a saber, and cuz they take less beating then the rifles do
-
This is true, and some do snap if dropped the wrong way...freshmen...
-
lol ive done both. its weird spining/ drilling with a saber. it feels like its gonna just snap when you do anything with it lol
-
granted they are not as heavy as the rifles are, but their light weight makes it easier for them to go out of control and much harder to regain control of were anything to go wrong. There are advantages and disadvantages to both styles of drill.
-
sabers are sooooo easy
-
if its so retarded, whyd you bother watching it? Betcha you couldnt do it...GO FALCONS!
-
Drill isn't the most fun past of being the armed forces but they made it look really easy ... good work guys :D
-
Nice video!

maybe you can make it into the prep school if it is worth it to you. We perform in a variety of uniforms. This performance was requested in BDU's
