i think you should sit in the cab of a what looks to me a Daf XF and then comment, as for 60 mph while lorries can go 60 mph on motorways they are ALL limited to 56mph some less. I cant believe how some people can judge this LGV so harshly when none of us were there, do you REALLY think he would have just carried on knowing it was there??? really?

Well said, it's nice that someone actually points these things out, it's always blamed on the truck because there bigger, people need to wake up and realise that cars are often at fault as well, due to undertaking, and not leaving enough room for maneouvering.

You people should sit in the lorry cab, it has been proved that driver of the car was in the wrong for not leaving enough room to pull out, he was in the lorries blindspot, so the driver could not see. Alfaclass, the type doesn't matter, mate. The Driver of the lorry was not prosecuted, but the car driver was, for reckless driving, because he pulled out to close and that is why the lorry hit him. IT IS IN NO WAY A SET UP, The car driver was an arsehole who decided not to pay attention.
