@willshootfirst I would put that 13 year old kid that's played with BD against any show band kid. No, they can't mimic corps style "for fun" they can't even play their own easy garbage standing still half clean.

@dzuy12 oh ok. yeah they're very fun to play on. there are a few drumlines that only use snare, tenor, bass and cybals and those drumlines would be southern university drumline and tennesse state university drumline and i think deleware state as well

@dzuy12 they are called tenors. DCI use to march them back in the 70's before quint and quads were invented.

While I'm not a fan of show band batterys, this wasn't bad. The choreography was pretty good, and most importantly they didn't over do it. Show bands suck when they try too hard. Most of these groups CANT play a corps style, it's not how they learned, and when they try to, it looks bad. And to the person who said DCI corps can't do anything exciting, I'd beg to differ, unless your idea of exciting is humping your drum, then yeah, it's not exciting. I liked this though. Good stuff.
