Very pretty, but hard to see how it works with all the transparency of the glass and the speed of the turning parts.

I am a lover of scientific glassware, Geissler tubes, crosses of fine art and functionality in glass. This piece is unbelievable! The glassblower, Mr. Paiko, seems almost magical in his ability... This looks like a scene from some sort of fairy tale dream.

I've spun my dachshunds undercoat and the hair of my girlfriends dog, a poodle mix, lovely curls. I used a drop spindle which will take forever but was a nice experiment.

YES!! I have wool that I have blended with Wolf Fur. Lots of folks use dog hair ~ it might make a nicer yarn with more body if blended.
