I also don't under stand why people are still talking about global warming. it's ridiculously illogical. Plants and trees use Carbon Dioxide to survive. The entire world's population can fit shoulder to shoulder back to back in the entire city of Los Angeles. With that said A little over 30 percent of people in the entire world even drive vehicles. ALSO in Europe their infrastructure is mainly based on diesel fuel, which is not at all harmful to the environment. Information is out there ppl LOOK

You can only really drive electric cars in states like California, where it's always sunny.. In extreme condition involving freezing temperatures the battery undergoes a different sequence of chemical reactions resulting in about a 50% power loss. Therefor less efficient.

@0ejmusik0 Yea with you in the first one.

Whats going on here,....
Were not running out of oil we wont for another 1000 years plus
Global warming exist's on a planetary scale, we can not do F**k all about it.
The gov want the oil for themselves!
We dont need no electric... we need to wake the fuck up!

They ought to have a car crusher that all the Volts drive straight into right off the assembly line.

A CIVIC NEVER LOSES
I heard this thing is being sold for over $40,000.
Get a Civic for $18,000,... $22,000 in gas will go a looong way.

@vietphoz Considering Honda is one of the most fuel efficient cars out there, and the electricity to charge the Volt still has to come from a coal burning plant, natural gas , or nuclear power, the only thing you're being "friendly" too is GM's bottom line.
Don't get me wrong, electricity is the way to go, but until the price comes down to a standard car and the power comes from non polluting source, ie solar, wind,...ect... which is still 10-15 years out, they are not practical.
