I'm 34, and have been into them since about '94, when I first heard grassroots, they've evolved as music has evolved, their self titled album is among my favorites, but evolver and don't tread on me ROCKKKKK. great bands DON'T GET STUCK ON ONE SOUND!! THAT'S WHAT MAKES BANDS LIKE NOFX, RANCID, AND 311 SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I HEARD TIM MAHONEY MAKE A REFERENCE TO THE MOVIE "GROUNDHOG DAY" AND THAT'S A PERFFFECCTT ANALOGY FOR ALL YOU HATERS!!!!!!!

I dont normally listen to 311, i like old Incubus Pearl Jam stuff like that is more my style, but ill smoke some bud to some 311, this shit is fucking Good.

@RyLeeKing I love uplifter..I think it's the closest they've come to sounding like the earlier days since from chaos..it's the evolution of 311 meets some of the earlier stuff..great summer album..hey you, is pretty much the only song I don't like

i really dont know why people have such a problem with uplifter and dont tred on me. both albums just show different emotion. as a reggae/rock band they've just been able to express a harder AND softer side of reggae rock. they cant just stick with one sound and not evolve. that would just be boring. i anticipate they'll go back to their earlier sounds soon enough. but i love every album they've produced. 311's fuckin sick. fuck the haters!
