After spending the night in the Barrowburn Camping Barn we set off on our Mountain Bikes along Coquetdale and the banks of the River Coquet to the Roman Camp, then followed Dere Street (Roman Road) north East over the Cheviot Hills hugging the Scottish Border and the Pennine Way. At Cross Dyke we headed downhill in a southerly direction onto Black Braes and the Street, then back to Barrowburn.

The X Country route was very boggy in places and a real challenge for both MTB and riders. The bike mounted camara was a Oregon ATC5K. http://www.encove.co.uk
