in was in my ninth grade science class when my school found out about what happened. there were tvs in all classrooms and the offices had them all turned on so the students would know what was going on and alot of parents were pulling kids out of school because of what happened. my mom had lost friends from her childhood that in the twin towers where they were working. it was heartbreaking to see that since i was born in newyork

i remeber being in 6th grade and my teacher was acting strangly ... she kept leaving the room and she came in and told the class what was going on and they brought a tv in our room and we watched the news all day and my teacher was upset cus her brother was supposed to be on the plane and ... thank god he missed his flght i wish every one missed that flight...its such a tradegy to lose so many people and then have war on top of that. I am proud of all the us soldiers Happy Independance Day.

@ouroxmysox yes, God bless them..... my mother's boyfriend was there with the FDNY. He is now suffering from lung cancer due to this day. But he saved many lives that day.
