  • i see this picture of him and i can't help but point at it like "thank you maannnn!!" and feel intensely grateful for turning my world on its head. jimi transcends the limits of time, sometimes i feel like this music was tailor-made for me, like i found my musical niche and i fit like a perfect piece in this psychedelic, trippy puzle of music. i'll be forever grateful to the cosmos for allowing this guy to meet with an electric guitar.

  • Jimi's music makes me so happy, I don't know how, but it does. It's just amazing.

  • The cover of this album is cool and badass. "South Saturn Delta" that term sounds so cool too

  • @Catch22ish , yeah alot of later stuff was underrated, but of course, it was only ever part of a compilation album in all forms it has appeared, originally on Rainbow bridge album. He was changing very quickly as a musician, great for the music, but maybe not for him personally, at the time.

  • I remember buying this album when I was like 16. It gave me a different side of Jimi I have never knowned. By far his most underrated album <3

  • Ahhhhhh sweet sweet music, my favorite of all, pali gap, what a blessing

  • Anyone notice the Sreaming Eagles on his vest from when he used to jump out of planes for the U.S. Army. That's part of what made Jimi such a unique individual.

  • @WaterPocket "Eternal quality" I like that... Also, please check out my cover of this great tune too, if you get a minute...

  • that intro gives me the chill every time. Its eternal quality ! turn it up

  • HIgher and higher than the highest Rock/rythm&Blues highclif far and beyond the simple feelings in a Land of His own time and space .. The end is only the beggining , words have no meaning with Jimi forever going ! Still doinit

  • @jabeeeeeeeee yup. meeting jimi's music just ain't like other musicians. his music is powerful enough to change you on a deep lvl. there's truly a spiritual connection "w/ the power of soul" that goes beyond the usual fascination w/ a music star.

btw, that's one of my fav. pics of him astride a "hippie bike" w/ flowers acting as backup headlights, definitely Jimi's "Ezy Ryder" pose. even w/ his thin arms he looks like a true gansta.
