This is my rendition of TP's "Learning To Fly". It's an anthem for high school stoners. It's not perfect (yet) but I just learned it about a week ago so bear with me! Thanks for your support!!

  • Strumming on a Blue Ridge?

  • Yes. It's a BR-143 000 Historic Series. You like it?

  • Great job and vocals. Excellent timing. You have a fine termollow to your voice, nice and natural. If I might suggest, try some light guage phoshor bronze strings. The tone will have more bass and mid. You guitar is likely maple on its sides or back. Sweet high-end, and phosphor bronze will bring out the bass. You could even go to medium (you're a big guy, and your fingers could handle it). Keep the faith. 5 stars.

  • Hey thanks for the comments man. Couple of things though... I AM using D'Addario phosphor bronze lights, and the other thig is that my guitar isn't maple at all. It's solid sitka spruce on top, and mahogany on the back and sides. Good looking out on the advice. 5 stars!

  • Thanks man. I've heard that every three months was good on the strings, but I play my guitar hours a day. I'm gonna re-string it before I post new videos. Sometime next week. Thx again for the comment.

  • Hey Matt thanks for the shirt buddy!

  • @geej18 lol

  • your good but i do agree the guitar sounds like crap. Good job though!

  • dude DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tune your guitar

  • everything is good the guitar just needs to be tuned better.

  • Wow, dude thats a cool guitar, A blue ride:D Pretty bad sound quality though

  • I have a BR-160. Thats all I could tell you. Interesting story behind it too. I picked guitar up about two years ago, and for a birthday present my brother got me a acoustic case for my Yamaha guitar. I opened the case, and inside of it was a Blueridge; not put there intentionally by my brother. So, I got a guitar case and a little beaten up BlueRidge (tuning prongs didnt work and had a crack in it), but got them fixed and its my favorite guitar out of 4. Best of luck to you!

  • Good job overall. Only thing is make surer your guitar is tuned.
