I have one of these in my house. The number for service is five digits. Tried to have someone form Otis check it out, but no one would do to liablity. Works fine. 4 floors and 650 pound capacity.
I remember, as a kid, going to the Eaton's Center in Montreal and riding the elevators there: they were manually operated with a lever by a elevator boy! I don't know if they're still there... Eaton's store don't exist here anymore, and the Eaton's Center was completely renovated... Guess they got rid of these old beauties.... Sad...

Modernization, yeah right, like that's ever going to happen, Dieselducy said the Guggenheimer isn't putting any money on this elevator.
