All four are knights and were knighted in the Middle Kingdom before NS became its own Kingdom.

Interesting that you call 3 Counts "noobs" - I, for one, would like to watch you fight any one of them.

Instead of showing yourself to be such, why dont you make yourself known and offer up an honourable challenge to any of the Northshield Crown participants?

I'm sure His Grace would agree that he is not currently one of the top three fighters in the world. No doubt he would also be more than happy to provide you the opportunity for direct mutual evaluation.

Bludgeon0884, Chivalry is not a requirement within the SCA feel free to be as lewed, disrespectful, and coarse as you wish. That being said fighting prowess counts for little within the SCA for it is a game where people look to have fun. Every person from Northshield I have met has been honourable and pleasant, and those of them that are fighters have been just as skilled as any other persons of the known world I have met. You make these statements but no one cares.

Hey, I never said northshield wasn't good at fighting in wars now did I. I just said they were crappy tourney fighters. For example, Calontir fighters are good war fighters but aren't that great at tourney fighting. Its a trade off. Kingdoms usually devote more training to either war or tourney fighting.

Oh and btw the lars vs geoffrey bout was from fall 07 crown, not the spring 08. So now you are judging every NS fighter, not just this tourney's combatants? Lars is currently HRM Northshield, and likely in the top 3 fighters of the known world. He will be stepping down as a duke at the end of this reign. And the "florentine samurai guy wearing blue" is currently HRH Northshield, and he will also be stepping down as a Duke at the end of his reign, so he is better than "pretty good"

I have this strange feeling that Bludgeon is just a fighter wanna-be. wont say who he is or where hes from. talks smack about knights and counts and viscounts like hes someone, but obviously has no grasp on the concept of chivalry. so obviously he isnt anybody important. he talks northshield down as if we cant fight, which means he wasnt at pennsic where we were winning battles outnumbered 2-1, where we were up against groups like dark moon. and hes talking down the middle kingdom now too. sad.

ok, so far this is what I have. Lars vs. Geoffrey. Those two aren't bad. And there is a florentine samurai guy wearing blue. He pretty good. He had a better concept of range and engagement. Everyone else kinda sucks.

Furthermore, I wouldn't brag about being part of or being knighted in The Middle Kingdom, because as I recall, (don't quote me on this) isn't the Middle Kingdom is one of the most wimpy kingdoms with way to many armour regulations and extra padding to mass weapons and so forth.
