Basil T's and Un Dici is by far two of the best restaurants in Jersey!! If my pocketbook and schedule allowed me to, I would eat there every day! I am going to try this recipe but I am almost positive it will not be like yours. I am a full blodded Italian girl but for some reason I don't make a good pomodoro sauce. Everything in your restaurant(s) is super fresh and super delicious...I even love your candies at the door!...I go to both restaurants often and I can't wait to go back!!

We had dinner at Basil T's last Saturday. Easily one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. Food, atmosphere and service are great. This sauce is delicious, I will attempt but know it can only be done the right way at Basil T's.
Thanks Vic!

Another excellently done video and explanation from Basil T. I am impressed by the spotless kitchen and fresh ingredients i.e. fresh tomatoes not canned like most recipes. It's unfortunately gotten almost impossible to find good fresh tomatoes anymore where I live (South Florida) I guess they've gone to condos everywhere, or maybe to satisfy Mickey D's crummy quality standards. If I get to Red Bank, NJ one of these days I'll make sure to go to Basil T's.

Thank you! All our tomatoes are fresh Jersey tomatoes (it helps being located in the Garden State). We'll have some homemade pomodoro waiting for you when you visit!
