The reQuests (Singapore) - Tea Break

Oooops!! The cameraman panned the audience for half of this video before he went back to the band on stage.

The ReQUESTS from Singapore playing "Tea Break" at the launching of Henry Chua's book "Call It Shanty!" on Sept. 28, 2001.

The line-up here: Henry Chua (lead guitar), Lim Wee Guan (drums), Raymond Leong (rhythm guitar) and Tan Beng Hoe (bass guitar).

Raymond Leong, Henry Chua and Lim Wee Guan were three of the original members of The Quests band in the early 60's. With a few line-up variations, The Quests released many hit records during the decade and became the most popular band in the history of Singapore Pop Music.

Henry was the composer of "Tea Break," which became the second Quests hit record in 1965, after "Shanty" in 1964.
