I've just seen the other video - Krete, Spinelonga - and see others have read the beautiful novel 'The Island' here..... this video brings the tragic story back to live!

As I saw the tunnel it felt as if I had been there. But I only read the book..."The Island" of Victoria Hislop. It was amazing how it was written and I became curious about the island... Terrible history...

I've just read Victoria Hislop's excellent book, "The Island" which features Spinalonga when it was a leper colony. This is a useful video to help picture the places in the story.
