this song is pretty bad. that is the first time i have ever said that about a PJ song. not that i care. they're the best band in the history of the world. they are allowed one shitty song. :)

when i heard the first few seconds of this song, i thought it was going to be a generic song that they just released to kill some time between albums. but it turned into quite a refreshing song

I feel like ole is pearl jams ugly baby and we're all just trying to love it for what it is. Maybe it will grow on me, who knows. Other than this song, I think the rest of their new album will be absolutely fantastic and I cant wait to hear it!

I heard this song the first time some weeks ago.. Listened again today. It's not thaaat bad... :-) Looking forward to the next album!

@pjaic1 I know where you're coming from. I'm just getting used to this song. It's not too bad. Most of Backspacer was AMAZING, IMO. THis song Ole is better than 75% of Riot Act lol. That was their lowest point, I think.

They would record Eddie singing the same song a few different ways and layer them on the track. Backing vocals are stronger now, from the whole band. This shows on "Ole". The song is a great showcase of the bands desire to get you moving. You can't pin PJ down to a style and you cannot predict what they will do next. In my humble opinion, they are the most important band still touring today, and I witness history every time I get the privilege to see another show. On to the hall of fame boys.
