  • I am a distant, very distant relative of the Esterhazy's I am so proud to see a family name on such beautiful work as this.

  • Never heard the baryton sound as good as it does here. Still, I see why it fell out of relevance. It seems to work only in ensemble for fleshing out the mid-range. Which it seems to do well and surely makes this trio sound much wider. But all those strings and tuning pegs! God help you. I vaguely remember reading that Haydn didn't really like the instrument at all.

  • I'm doing an extra bit on barytons for Music Appreciation. I had no idea it would be such a beautiful instrument. Here's to Esterházy and Haydn!

    Thanks for uploading this.

  • Inspirational! My middle-schooler son who plays viola immediately said he would like to try this instrument.

The music is well done and and enjoyable. Thanks!

  • tá buenísimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My goodness ! ...This is the first time i've seen a baryton in an actual performance ! ...Lovely !!!
