Are you using apple tv or laptop for xbmc?

Can you show step by step on the network settings on appletv how this is done? i bought the app after looking at this video, i can view all the files by directory but when i click movies it says its loading and within seconds the app shuts down.

Initially it didn't work for the movies, but the developer answered really quickly (if a movie doesn't have a title it wouldn't load, so it was a quick fix).
I saw you mention for the Simpsons that it doesn't list them in the correct order when you look at the file structure. You could probably fix this by adding a zero for the directories below 10.

Yeah, looks like the guy fixed a lot of problems. It's funny, he even added a message about the years (it turned out that my scraper wasn't getting the years, so it wasn't a problem with xbmc). And for that empty area in the horizontal orientation, he added a series progress bar.
