She lived for 8 months in a garage, locked in there with an intact male. Thankfully, no puppies, but she has hygromas on her elbows due to being forced to spend excessive periods on the hard concrete (visible on photo).
She was then bought off kijiji by a couple who proceeded to take her and her companion to the shelter. Due to the condition of the shelter, Sheila's companion was turned away, as he'd have to be put down. The owners brought him to the vet and had him put to sleep.
Despite a terrible beginning, Sheila is very sweet with virtually no baggage. She knows and listens to obedience commands, and she has a great, laid back attitude. She's beautiful inside and out.

beside draining, with a soft bed and elbow pads, will it go down? My girl has one from laying on the floor (hard wood) I have 2 beds in the house but she perfers the floor. And she loves to lay down hard with a THUMP.
