Sonny and Cher had a minor hit with this Bob Dylan classic in the mid sixties, although now, their performance is much more enjoyable to watch and cherish!
Correct, vrus85. Hers was THE hit version. With her connections in the recording industry and with Sonny (of course) she beat everyone in this Dylan cover battle. Probably recorded at Gold Star studios. The Wrecking Crew were her studio musicians. The Byrds did a good version, but they were busy with a huge hit with Dylan's "Mr. Tamborine Man" at the same time shortly followed by "Turn! Turn! Turn!"
Funny thing is - Sonny Bono could mimic Bob Dylan's singing voice easily
