Go to a doctor for a compressed spine and they will prescribe you muscle relaxants. Go to a good chiropractor and you'll get an uncompressed spine. These examples are my first hand experiences. Your arguments, are exactly the same as Pen and tellers. We've already heard them watching their show.
This has nothing to do with valid eastern medicine (by valid, I mean scientifically proven successful)
These are just hack practices, like a lot of the new age crap which is purely based on "mental masturbation" claims with no scientific evidence backing up what it preaches. Money hungry people aren't just in the big industries...
I have gone to the chiropractor before, when my neck actually did hurt. And they actually did make my neck feel better. However, I also noticed the bullshit papers around the office telling me how adjustments can make my children not need immunizations, keep me from getting the flu, and a whole lot of other garbage that I knew was utterly fake. I didn't go for that junk, I just went for my sore neck.
@iLOVEpicklesBRO28 Consider this, that woman" studying" to be a reflexologist is a registered nurse. That means she at least has some kind of knowledge of real medicine, but was still unable to notice how bullshit reflexology is. If she can make that kind of mistake in judgement, there isn't much to stop a doctor from doing the same.
Reflexology is nonsense, but stress and anxiety do weaken the immune system. This happens if you aren't getting the amount of sleep your body needs to recover from the work it does during the day. But this has nothing to do with reflexology or anything like it.
why not just do light yoga and stretching in the morning instead of getting yanked about so roughly?
I'm never going to a chiropractic 'doctor' again.

@puertoricofree This is true, if it's a good one - and if they didn't tell you bullshit about it.

@shrikechan I disagree - I'm sick less than anyone I know, and I get the least sleep of anyone I know (5-5.5 hours a night)

In all fairness $55 for an hour long foot massage is not the worst deal in history.....
