Your not very knowledgable of glassblowing. That is not a piece you learn to make in the first few months. Plus its a symmetrical piece not an asymmetrical piece. Sculpting a bowl by hand without the use of blowing it out on a blowpipe is not something beginners do. It is an advanced technique. I'm sure it's not his best most technical work either. And by the way he's an artist not an athlete

My point was only that spinning something open to make an asymmetrical piece is something one learns in their first few months of glassblowing. Most any glassblower would agree- not a high skill piece. The glassblower himself may be capable of doing great work, but this particular example ain't it. Dozens a day? 'Nuff said.
