An absolute true 70's classic, a really enchantic feel good film and i really adore the music. I saw it on tv years ago! H eaven forbid its its ever remade for cinema or tv series, i wonder who would play mr blundon?..geaffery bayldon? surprised no one has thought of it. I too have it on dvd!

saw this film at the pictures as an 8/9 year c1972 needles to say i fell in love with it and of corse with lynn fredricks i had a boyhood crush, fantastic film i have it on dvd does anybody know were the church yard is would like to visit it anyway thankyou lionel jeffrys and R.I.P.

So sad to hear of Lionel Jeffries passing yesterday,its a real shame Anchor Bay never got him to do a commentary for the dvd that came out 5/6 years ago. a unique man,this film (in my opinion) is his most beautiful work, its a true gem.
