Email privacy is a fourth amendment right which you can secure with free encryption technology. I will explain the importance of privacy and three free solutions which should easily integrate into your life with relative ease. With end-to-end encryption, no one can read emails to you, not even your ISP, and even if the government forces them to turn over their archives of your emails, they will just receive encrypted gibberish.

Do not surrender your privacy to the security people on the argument that it will "help to catch the bad guy" or on the question, "What do you have to hide?" The bad guy already knows and uses email encryption, and furthermore, you should not have to sacrifice your freedoms for security. This nation (USA) was built on freedom, not security. Security is what you are doing right now to protect yourself, and in this case your email.

  • Thanks for this video. I learned about Comodo here.

But I would earnestly recommend cleaning up your audio here. You may be mercilessly insulted about it.

  • WONDERFUL! It's nice to see someone with some sense. I have known all along that security is an issue, but I have never been sure how to pursue it for email. Thanks!
