Ban divorce? More like ban marraige, then none of this shit would matter. Why do people need recognition from the government, isn't their family and friends enough?

im sorry to point this out but there is no separation of church and state. we say there is but there really isn't. most of our laws are based in religious teachings, when you go to court you do have to swear on the bible, our national anthom refers to god. our money has in god we trust printed and stamped on it. i could keep going but i don't think its needed. separation of church and state is a lie we all fell for and most people are to ignorant to accept as it really is.

i am divorced and im glad,i couldnt imagine being forced to stay in that marriage...i will never get married again.

if divorce was banned that wouldn't really make sense in america. america agreed to separate the state from the church so the bible shouldn't be brought up i guess in courts or anything. if divorce was banned that's like asking two ppl who probably been through a lot of pain and betrayal and who hate each other to still stay married even if they don't want to.

I hate to say it, but you can get a divorce any where, even another country. Celebrities in the 50s back when they had stricter divorce policies, would go to Mexico to get divorce. It was easier, cheaper and quicker too.

If LGBT cannot marry, nobody should be able to. Thos who voted to take our rights away will be begging for this to be repealed. They think its for hurting gays, silly breeders. We will be eating popcorn and each other watching the murder rate go up among heteros. If this passes, you lose. IF it doesn't. you still lose.

I'm shocked how few people get the whole point of what the divorce ban was about. It was pointing out that those who claim marriage is sacrate and for religious reasons they choose to vote against gay marriage then they should feel just equally obligated to vote against divorce. Hell jesus never even mentions gays but he had alot to say about divorce. All the good christians should be happy at the thought of divorce being banned anywhere! So what would jesus do? He would be banning divorce!
