Scott Lerner Guitar Improv in Kitchen with Glaswerks and Carruthers

Just an off the cuff improvised solo over the Santanaesque backing. I used the Carruthers Spruce CSA for this. Filmed with a Canon HV20 and Sony external mic about four feet from amp. I had phones on and synced the video and solo to the backing in Sony Vegas software. I think I got it close. Rig is my Glaswerks Deluxe OD with RF tweaks, Glaswerks Matchbox tube loop, TC G-Major 2, Suhr MiniMix to run TC delay and reverb in parallel, 1X12 Glaswerks G1265 cab. Amp in 50W mode and volume is low. I used the loop to control the volume. My kids were all playing in the adjoining open area while I recorded. Notice my daughter ride her scooter by at 3:32! This is more a test of the camera and external mic and not so much to showcase the playing......

@georgebig2 Thanks! I use a Dunlop 2mm gator grip. Normal point, not the rounded edge, it is a pretty smooth and dark pick.

@58669fender TC GMajor 2 and Suhr Minimix for parallel mix. TC was set kill dry. All interfaced with the amp using a tube buffered loop. Scott

Does the overdrive come from the amp? this Glaswerks is very sweet...( is it expensive to buy?)

@misternogreco All tone ios amp. I used the TC for some slight delay and reverb. It is in parallel using Suhr MiniMix. The amps are reasonable when compared to the other Dumble style amps. The guitar may be the most expensive piece of gear here. I love it. Btw, this is the sister guitar to one that was made for Robben.
