my grandma died on that flight, i remember that day so well, i was getting ready for school, i was 6 at the time, and the phone rang and i picked it up, it was my grandma and i said "hi gwandma, who's sweaming?". there were people screaming in the backround and she told me "honey quickly put mommy and daddy on the phone, i love you sweetie", tht was the last i heard of her, later tht day my parents told me what happened, and i've changed ever since. (:(
I saw this live at really early in the morning in 2nd grade. My brother who was in 6th grade got me out of bed an we watched Nickelodeon. All of a sudden the TV blacked out and went to I believe CNN. My brother immediatly ran upstairs and woke my parents up since he knew exactly what was happening. I was so confused, so I watched the second tower get hit and the 1st tower collapse without even realizing what I was watching. Then I went to school and all the woman teachers were crying.
My God. I remember my dad and I watching this as it happened live. It was the first time i Ever saw my father cry. May God Bless the souls of the families and those who died on this day. Fall colors that year weren't orange, yellow and brown. They were Red, White, and Blue. God Bless America!
I think this is the same clip that was played on CBS later that day. It's no less harrowing 8 years and a day later. This and the clips that were used in The History Channel's "102 Minutes that Changed America" put what happened back in your face and show us where our heads should be at on this. We should have kept our focus in Afghanistan. Now we have 2, maybe 3 conflicts where there should have been 1. They may all fall apart or go on indefinitely.
i was in third grade and didnt understand why all of my teachers ere crying but now im in 11th grade and im soo facinated that this could ever happen... its just so shocking.. we will neverr forget.
I had two family members go that day only because they were trapped above where the plane hit. God bless all the people who lost family and help the parted pass on into heaven and be with God.
