"Pancakes" isn't only out of context with the Cabin Fever. It's out of context with Universe! Where do you see a backwoods boy screaming "Pancakes", doing karate moves AND biting your hand, all in 15 seconds?

Insert a stray cat isn't random. It just shows how delirious and mad Patrick is. I would go for "D'you like Phil Collins?" in that aspect.
