I am honored to tell you my Grandfather worked on this engine as well as Berkshire 1223 ( in Gd. Haven) when they rolled through the Wyoming, mi. yard. he was the head boiler / maintenance guy there in the 1940's- 50's. he started work on the PM in 1903 and retired from C&O about 1955! Glad and proud to see you guys running that thing!

We weren't really working the engine that hard, just holding at the required speed limit until reaching the outskirts of town.

In Mt. Pleasant, MI. Just south of the Mountain Town Brewing Station where it stops.

This is when the train was leaving Mt. Pleasent. I was in the dome and saw you guys as the train passed.
