  • Where was this takened?

  • In Mt. Pleasant, MI. Just south of the Mountain Town Brewing Station where it stops.

  • This is when the train was leaving Mt. Pleasent. I was in the dome and saw you guys as the train passed.

  • LOL, that's pretty cool. We got covered in ash as the locomotive passed us.

  • @TrainMan404 That's Lima's signiture gunshot stack exhaust! :)

  • I had a great grandfather that helped lay the B and O mainline

  • I am honored to tell you my Grandfather worked on this engine as well as Berkshire 1223 ( in Gd. Haven) when they rolled through the Wyoming, mi. yard. he was the head boiler / maintenance guy there in the 1940's- 50's. he started work on the PM in 1903 and retired from C&O about 1955! Glad and proud to see you guys running that thing!

  • We weren't really working the engine that hard, just holding at the required speed limit until reaching the outskirts of town.

  • Those were cinders, probably.

  • Sounds like she is really working hard to get the train started... can you say stack talk?
