Secret Chiefs 3 - Book T: Exodus [LIVE in Israel, 2010]

Secret Chiefs 3, the ambitious and unique band, that combines surf rock with varied musical styles, led by the mastermind Trey Spruence, in their first-ever show in Israel, performing the tune "Book T: Exodus".

The song is actually an adaption to the main theme of the movie "The Exodus"(starring Paul Newman), composed by Ernest Gold. The SC3's adaption originally appeared in their fifth album, "Book of Horizons", performed by the sub-group named "UR".

The live lineup consists of:
# Trey Spruance - guitar
# Timb Harris - violin
# Toby Driver - bass
# Jai Young Kim - keyboard
# Ches Smith - drums.

The gig took place on the 4th of May, 2010, in the Barby club, Tel-Aviv.

Being there was a hell of an experience!!

Yeah, we have here a pretty fertile year here in israel, in the matter of the musical acts coming from abroad.

Their last tour-mate, Les Claypool, paid a visit on March, in the very day of my b-day!

I think its Toby Driver on bass. Timb is on violin. Jason isn't there....no other guitar there.
