I always find it hard to understand how some guys can dislike a girl for wearing makeup - that wearing makeup is vain and we should focus on inner beauty. Yet these same guys will never date a fat woman because fat isn't pretty.

You speak the truth. Personally, I don't wear makeup because it takes too much time in the morning, I don't like worrying about my face falling off, and I look fine without it. However, I've been wearing lots of stage makeup lately and like the way I look with all that stuff on, and enjoy the compliments. (red lipstick makes everything better) What I'm trying to say is makeup, if used correctly, can create something awesome.
