What I think is the best way to brush/comb your hair.
Thanks to Janeytilllie for the babybrush tip!

  • Your hair looks much thicker here... does hair get thiner as it becomes longer :S?

  • @xood85 No, it gets thinner as you get older =P I was 15 here, my body has gone through changes since then, haha xD

  • are you studying to be a cosmetolegist? just wondering... ;)

  • No, I'm still in high school =)

  • @Loepsie I'm 15 now and I already have the thinnest hair. What can I do? I love to wear it open. Do you think I will loose hair too?

  • I love your wood hair comb, where did you get it?

  • your hair has grown a lot since here

  • use a natural bristle brush (such as boar hair) the cuticles from the natural hair take oil from your scalp and deposit along the ends of your hair.

  • wow your hair is so pretty >.< i wish mine was as shiny as yours :(

  • I meant to say 'NOW I've seen you use it', sorry! Why can't we edit our posts here?

  • I always use a baby brush, I definitely think it's much better than the other brushes. I've heard positive things about the boar-bristle brush, but the ones that people normally use are torture to one's hair, they only break it :(. I never use combs and only finger-detangle, but I've also heard good things about the wooden wide-toothed combs like the one you have, I might get one and experiment with it, so I've seen you use it. Btw, your hair looks really healthy and thick in this video! :)

  • how about a boar bristle brush?

  • what a bout when the hair is wet....

  • @Loepsie Actually, hair DOES get thinner as it becomes longer, as the hair is more and more damaged and loses layers (it also splits in two). And no, hair DOESN'T get thinner but THICKER as a person get older. It often changes its natural texture with aging, also. This occurres mostly when hair goes white. :) However, obviously if you get your hair as less damaged as possible, you can get it thick and healthy even at the ends. A good tip is trimming the ends regularly to prevent splitting.
