dave, how far is this from panama city and all the action?

@asykes9 its about a 1 hour drive in land. If you ask any cab they can take you there. Or take a shuttle, im pretty sure they have one thats takes you from Panama City to Gamboa. Let me know if you need help!

@asykes9 well then you need to check out hotels or couchsurfers in the center of the city. Yea being in Gamboa is very far from the city, a little to far.

thats how it is during the day because everyone is out all day on excursions. Trust me it was FULL!

@Davidsbeenhere thx for the info........i have a timeshare and its in Farallon, Colon, Gamboa and Departmente Chame-Prov.....I have no idea of the distance from the main city nightlife. I will be there Sept 1 and trying to get an idea of where to stay to get the full Panama experience. I don't want to be too far from the nightlife. In your opinion, where should i stay to get the maximum Panama experience. We want to have fun but don't want to have to drive 2 hrs back home from the clubs
