sandals is one of the best places to stay in jamaica, very classy. many people say "dont leave the resort its dangerous" - which is not true. just like any other place you may visit, its smart to travel around with someone who is from the area so they know where to go. there are tons of tour options - personally, i think private tours are the best way to go.
