Ha ha! Mayans might have been Jaradites! thats cool archeology. In the Book of Mormon they talk about a Land called "Desolation" because the people that lived there before had used all the trees!

@GmaM11 Leading Biblical archaeologists, William G. Dever stated:
"Archaeology certainly doesn't prove literal readings of the Bible...It calls them into question, and that's what bothers some people. Most people really think that archaeology is out there to prove the Bible. No archaeologist thinks so. The truth of the matter today is that archeology raises more questions about the historicity of the Hebrew Bible and even the New Testament than it provides answers"

@GmaM11 I have a Challenge for You, Explain AB resistance or Plant Speciation without using the Theory of Evolution?
Try to find the answer for that, instead of wasting your time with your Anti-mormon nonsense.

Mormons have no archeological evidence for their claims, unlike the mountains and volumes of Biblical archeological evidence. Very odd to see how they grasp at straws. Mormons....check out information on the Phoenecian culture in America. It is a much better fit for their strange "writing" which bears absolutely no resemblance to Hebrew to their temple architecture, which is nothing like the wilderness temple or Solomon's temple.

The White God Quetzalcoatl
By Joseph Allen.... taken from his book "Exploring the Lands of the Book of Mormon"
And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them.... (3 Nephi 11:8)

@Troul478, I don't consider us pure biological robots. If you'd cared to ask, you'd have found that I think human beings are a gestalt of a great many factors, biology being just one part. I just don't happen to think any of those parts contains any magical or supernatural elements. I also don't think it's shameful to be part of a self-replicating chemical reaction that's managed to persist over 3 1/2 billion years. We've got a shared pedigree and history that we can't even begin to comprehend.
What is this footage from? I'd be interested in watching the entire program.
