So in this video you claim to be speaking the truth yet you state only one fact and its a half truth. In the state of FLORIDA ALONE 9 people where killed by big cats since 2005.THATS ONE STATE AND ONLY THE LAST FIVE YEARS!. You claming that only 20 have died since 1990 is a twist of the facts. Your the one spreading the BS dude. BTW, if you where legit, you woulden't be in there "playing" with the cats.

go to REXANO dot org and click on hyperlink 'educational flyers', it has all the fatality info, FL had 4 people killed by big captive cats since 1990. Your number 9 might be ALL exotics, your info is incorrect.

No one denies that large exotic animals can be kept in ahealthy safe enviroment as pets. That's basically what zoos do. However your video also sets up one or two red flags of its own.

There is a big difference between saying "housecats are great pets" and "lions are great pets". The principle difference being the percentage of homes that are capable (in terms of money and facilities) of looking after them. Your video really should make that clear.

@thisisnotanick I said they were captive bred implying captivity is their home. Since you like freedom so much, what about freedom from disease? freedom from hunger? These animals were never in the wild they have no concept of it and unlike a baby, will NEVER have any concept of it so nothing is being taken away. They do however understand hunger and they do understand sickness.

There are almost 5 million domestic dog bites and attacks each year that require hospital attention. I think the focus should be on regulating the irresponsible dog owners. That is an alarming statistic. And people want to ban exotics? That is absurd. Statistics don't lie. Great video.

so you are by default soliciting the trade of wild and endangered species

which by captive breeding are bastardizing their blood lines

look at tigers....the majority of captive tigers are worth shit genetically because they are mixed with other types of tigers

you might think you know how to care for tigers

you may have the funds and the experience but you are encouraging people who dont

@aroradreem True, but if we saw the dog's ancestor, these days, everybody would be of a "hands off!" attitude. Yet we know how well that worked. The process does have to start somewhere if that is the intent. As to *wild* animals, I still stand by the firearms analogy: like a gun owner, you must be trained and qualified in every way, but if you are, and you HAVE the right resources and living environment (i.e. you are in a rural area), I am not opposed.
