give it two or three decades, the president of China would be uyghur. lol, we are repeating the same cycle of dynastic rotation, since the ethnic group which united the 'greater china' in the past has always been multilingual groups, i,e, the manchu, the mongol, the tang (turkic languages were insanely popular amoung the Tang Danasty courts and nobilities and even the Li emperial family).
