An alternative guide to washing twists, locs and dreads on your own / in between salon visits. It's easy, costs under $20 and very few locs come out.

  • I'm growing my hair now. Just started. How do I wash it without messing up my hair? I'm starting with small twist locks.

  • @MrDMoney1106: I am working on a video reply to your question for later this month. When I first started, I didn't wash my hair. I used Seabreeze with in a spray bottle for 6 months, because I got tired of retwisting it. If you must wash, then get a good Shampoo plus Conditioner product to cut down the amount times you actually scrub your hair. I now use Tremese; it's amazing. :-) I also tried Dry Shampoo. This is great when you first get it done as no scrubbing!

  • @MrDMoney1106 I just posted a video reply. Check it out and let me know if that helps.
