@errolJF Sorry mine is all stock, no Dewalt or Castle Creations. So it would be hard for me to comment. How old are your 8000mah lipo's? Are you charging them properly? The Traxxas Summit message boards "Traxxas web site" has a wealth of info. I would ask the questions you asked me over there for a more detailed answer.

@Teamwoody98 is there something wrong with my summit if it only run for about 15/20 min on 8000mah iv got a dewalt motor and the original esc. also would i be able to run the dewalt motor off a Castle Creations esc

How long you ride on 8000 mah battery ?

On 4s lipo it is no different than 12-14 cell Nimh. The trucks not meant for speed. I'd reckon it's going no more than 18 mph maybe 20 at best on stock tires and motor. The tires, gearing and motor must be swapped to get real increase in speeds.

It's not geared for speed. People keep saying it's slow. Well duh, it's a trail crawler/basher, not a speed rig. That's what the E-Revo is for. :) For speed you'll need a higher revving motor..and better stiffer tires. The stock ones are way too soft and flop around beyond stock 14 volt speeds.

I`m going to buy a novak smart stop LVC.should I buy a 2S Novak Smartstop for each battery or a 4S LVC for two battery packs?

how did you setup your novak LVC?

No they both fit with out issue.

Did you have to modify the battery box for the SPCs to fit?

I mistakenly purchased hardcase lipos that don't fit without serious dremel action
