Rufus is a 9 year old, reg. Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. He is also registered in the United Racking Horse Association. He stands 15.1hh. Rufus has a thick, solid build, and can carry larger riders with ease. He is a very fun horse to ride. Can really step on out when you want, or walk slow and easy. Smooth either way you go. He is fit, in good shape, and can go all day. Rufus is very easy to ride. No special skills required to enjoy his smooth gaits. This guy is a trail machine. Just point and go. He will easily maneuver ditches, step over logs, cross bridges, and go through water. Rufus is sure footed, and knows where his feet are. He rides out well alone or in a group. He'll ride in the front, back, or middle. Rufus has been exposed to dogs, cars, atv's, motorcycles, farm equipment, tarps, flags, bicycles, cows, goats, donkeys, teeter-totters, and much more. Rufus is always a gentleman and has great ground manners. Rufus is easy to bridle and tack up. Stands quiet to be groomed, and is excellent to clip. Good with his feet and stands well for the farrier. No hesitation about the trailer. He loads right up, and backs off nicely. Rufus is very accustomed to being trailered. He has been hauled alot. He will stand tied quietly for hours. Rufus is sound and healthy. He has no lameness issues or health problems. He is up to date on shots, de-worming, farrier, and has a current coggins. Rufus has great feet. He has no vices or bad habits. All of my horses ship out with a current coggins, recent health certificate, and a vet examination report.
