Since childhood -- when she was told of her Indian origin -- she wanted to know where she was born and why she was not in India.

Before you go or write to the archives, you must have the following info:

1.Six digits indentureship number or

2. The name,ships, and year of arrival in British Guiana.

3. See a sample of father's birth certificate by using GOOGLE. Type in 'India_asgar' ,then search and clip on British India
