I dont understand why people keep thinking Ryo's name is Ryu..... It's Ryo Hazuki not Ryu Hayabusa or Ryu from Street Fighter and he's not Akira Yuki either....

So true. I played Shenmue I and II on the Dreamcast and I only wish the first game was in Japanese with English subtitles.
I much preferred the second game for various other reasons, but it was a blessing in disguise that Sega decided to release the second game on the Dreamcast with the native language (presumably to save time and money) as the English actors were just awful.

bought this game instantly when i saw it, there was no advertising for it so i didnt even know it was out =[ thats prob why it didnt do so well with sales. greatest game ever
