    First of all, we are not making a secret of the nature of this video since it was made by the Embassy of Kazakhstan and is posted here by the Embassy.

    Secondly, we are indeed hopeful that reasonable people will be able to see its relation to reality.

  • Ethnic Kazakhs descend from the ancient Turks, and over the Middle Ages they got mixed with Tatars, Kypshaks, Ogys and many other mostly Turkic people in Central Asia. Then starting from XVIII century some parts of Kazakhstan started getting colonized by Russians. You know what happened next.

    they 're half Asians and half Europeans, but after Mongol evasion they definitely became more Asians.
