Even if obama were a muslim it wouldn't matter if he were in the white house; don't forget that the ottoman empire spent much of it's existence as being far more advanced and enlightened than the rest of the world.

Well that is very strange because Islam states that it actually worships the same god as christianity, as an abrahamic religion they actually have the bible as a part of their scriptures; the koran is much like the new testament in the same way that the new testament is an extension to the Torah (the old testament))

Oh, and for the record; just because Barack Obama is black and has an unusual name doesn't make him a muslim.
