http://www.mda.state.mn.us Led by Natasha Mortenson, Morris Area High School agriculture teacher and advisor, Morris FFA students hit the city to help teach elementary students about agriculture and food. Along with letting city kids see farm animals, the students make dozens of class presentations at Northrop Urban School and Lake Nokomis -- Wenonah School in Minneapolis.

Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom (MAITC) is a unique public/private partnership based at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. The program's educational materials and programs are designed to help busy educators integrate agriculture into the core K-12 curriculum. Resources include the popular student AgMag and AgMag Jr.
