  • where do you get blueberries that cheaply? Here in SF CA, your best price for a pint of them is $5

  • Salmon is bad comparison for price... it's expensive. The average person doesn't buy salmon regularly... they buy cheap frozen burritos.

  • how long time ago you became bald?is it your choice or cause of disease?

  • You look healthy like my pastor and his Uncle (well everybody is his family). But especially his Uncle. And I know they eat alot of fresh things. I feel like I have no choice but to become a raw foodist, because I am morbidly obese and diabetic, and I can't have greasy meats or carbs. So what's left//

  • @1800tellmama The oldest people, the healthiest athletes, the most energetic people on the entire planet are raw foodists. You get more digestible protein from vegetables than you do from meat. The live active digestible enzymes within raw fruits & vegetables turn into protein. Take Dan McDonald or Markus Rothkranz who are very muscular & have been 100% raw foodists for years. Spinach, kale, etc, are all very full of enzymes which are strings of amino acids which your body turns into protein.

  • iS SPINACH REALLY FULL OF PROTEIN? I never heard of that.

  • @paweleve totally agree. Nuts/seed prices are INSANE

  • produce/vegetables aren't that expensive but when you get into the nuts seeds and fruit it gets a little crazy.

  • Thanks for all the Raw Foods 101 videos Yuri, I do have a great deal of interest in nutrition. I was wondering about canned vegetables and fruits, are they just as good as raw foods or have thier enzymes been broken down greatly? Also do you feel that oatmeal is a healthy alternative to cereals? Thanks

  • another thing to that is people eating junk food or not healthy tend to be over eating anyway. Yes you can get more of the low quality food at a lower price but most of the time (in America) you don't need to eat that much. Yes the prices at Whole foods outrageous. But not so bad if you take 5cases of soda and gallons of ice cream off your grocery list. i find it funny ice cream is on manys weekly grocery list....
