Great as always thanks. I have a small question maybe you can help me with. On the red loco's in the first part of your video what are them round things in the windows? Do they open up for vents or serve some other purpose? Thanks your friend in Michigan Paul.

The round things are turning window.
Japanese name "SENKAI-MADO".
Purpose of the turning windows are prevention of snow due view-security. There is a small motor on the round center.
It is equipped a lot by the diesel of the heavy snowfall area.
