Kensington iPhone Car Windshield/Vent Mount, HTC EVO 4G Approved!

I was a little worried that my purchase of the Kensington iPhone windshield mount wouldn't work with my HTC EVO 4G, but I ended up being extremely pleased, not only because it fits snugly, it's slim, allows for horizontal and vertical positioning, and comes with an optional vent mount, but that it's also pretty cheap; I picked mine up through Amazon for around $25 bucks. I suppose the only remotely-possible con you could make is that it cannot hold the phone exactly in the middle due to the EVO's volume buttons, but you can get it pretty darn close, and to me that's really nothing to complain about.

Unfortunately it does no work with one of those rubber-like cases. I tried with the one manufactured/distributed by HTC for the Evo and it would not fit in mount. There is still a slight chance that if it was in a thin hard case it might work.

Does it bounce a lot? if it fits an evo it should work with an iphone 4 with a thin case, in you opinion.

I've read this mount works with the HTC Thunderbolt too :) I just ordered one for mine, so we'll find out for sure. I'm HOPING that it'll work with the thin hard case I'm using with my Thunderbolt...

Cant they just make it so that it will charge without wires, seems like a lot of trouble hooking up cables in the car. The aux then USB, TOO MANY CABLES!!!

i couldn't find this one but i found a similar kensington but with sound amplification hopefully it works well ... its not as slim but still clean hopefully its worth the  amplification for the extra bulk
